The 2026 nominations, announced on Tuesday, recognize both broadcast and digital shows; Eater was nominated for Outstanding Daytime Short Form Program for its Most-Ordered, a new series that debuted this year.Most-Ordered spotlights the dishes found on just about every table at a specific restaurant; the pilot episode focused on Lori Jayne, which operates within the bar Danger Danger in Brooklyn and is helmed by chef Sam Braverman. The episode goes all in on Braverman’s steak frites, touching on every stage of…
With storage and memory prices still at an all-time high, we’re happy to tell you about a solid deal on a good laptop when we find one, rare as they are. Best Buy is selling the HP OmniBook X Flip 2 in 1 for $999.99 (usually $1,649.99) with an Intel Core 7 Ultra CPU, 16GB of LPDDR5X memory, and a 1TB SSD. The star of the show is the 1920 x 1200 OLED touchscreen, an uncommon perk at this price point. It will display deeper black levels and have faster response times than screens in other similarly-priced models. Also, it…

In 2025, 90% of infants globally – or nearly 116 million – received at least one dose of a diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis (DTP) vaccine, and 85% – or 110 million – completed the full three-dose series, according to the annual WHO-UNICEF Estimates of National Immunization Coverage (WUENIC) released today. While both indicators rose by one percentage point from the previous year, global coverage remains one point below 2019 levels – hovering within the same narrow range since 2009. According to the data, an estimated 13.5 million “zero-dose” children did not receive a single vaccine in their first year during 2025. While…

Tom Norrington Davies is a friend, fellow chef and one of the best yoga teachers I know, so you can probably imagine my pleasure on recently coming across his recipe for broad bean and mint risotto, which he wrote for The Eagle Cookbook in 2009. Like many restaurants, this legendary gastropub pods their broad beans to reveal the beautiful green bean inside; this is my zero-waste interpretation.Broad bean pod risottoMy version of this dish is much more rustic than Tom’s, not least because it uses the whole ingredient, including the empty pods, which are a real flavour bomb. Not only…
Physical badges used to be all you needed for identity management at a company. But with humans now working alongside machines and AI agents in digital environments, even the identity tools built for the cloud era are proving inadequate. Co-founded by serial entrepreneur Shai Morag, the company has been quietly building a unified control plane that governs identity across an organization, and is now emerging publicly with its product generally available and already deployed by enterprise clients, backed by $60 million in seed funding that…
